07 - Transfer to serving platter. Accompany with lemon wedges for squeezing at table.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • This dish transforms ordinary shrimp into something restaurant worthy with spices you probably already have in your pantry
  • The entire cooking process happens in one pan meaning less cleanup and more time at the table
02 -
  • Overcooked shrimp becomes rubbery quickly so watch for them to turn pink and opaque then remove them instantly
  • Crowding the pan lowers the temperature and prevents proper searing so cook in batches if needed
03 -
  • Buy the best smoked paprika you can find as cheaper versions taste more like dust than smoke
  • Let your pan get properly hot before adding ingredients to achieve that restaurant quality sear
